Wow, very insightful. Sorry about the heart getting broken every year, you definately need to get out of that cycle. It be cool to see photos of you on Romper Room! You should put that up on Loaded!
  • James Carroll · 10 months ago
You are smart and good looking, so why cant you keep a guy (or gal if that's your thing)?

In case modesty prevents you from saying so - I'm guessing that they cant keep handle you being intelligent.

or do you choose bad men ?

Or maybe you are just a crazy witch to live with ?

Some of us out there like intelligent women (I'm already taken so I'm not offering).

    Keep looking.

  • Herrea · 10 months ago
What about Li Li? Can people call you that without getting blocked?
  • Kevin · 10 months ago
You realize everyone is going to call you Nat Nat now!
  • Kris · 10 months ago
I also have double jointed shoulders. Well, shoulder, just my left one. I thought I was the only one :P
  • jeffcoffee · 10 months ago
    Good Job Natali!
    I was looking for:
    "I cannot live without post-it-notes"
  • Alan Ralph · 10 months ago
Double jointed, and can tie shoes with your toes? And there was me thinking Tom Merritt was the only alien hiding out at CNET! :D
  • Ray Scott · 10 months ago
Terrance Cheek (above) is potiential stalker material me thinks lol
  • Derek_M · 10 months ago
Hmmm...this is the first I have heard of this. I'm apparently rather behind the times when it comes to these memes (I hate that word and would like to punch Richard Dawkins in the face but that is another issue).

That is an impressive list, especially number 21. Number 4 is interesting as well. Being brought up Protestant I was never exposed to any religious art but I now love Orthodox Christian Iconography, which is quite tame compared to Western art.

Ah well, I may just have a go at my own list. Thanks for the inspiration.
  • Robert Lindsay · 10 months ago
Wow a very powerful list of 25 Natali,I'm kinda wonder what #7 means? so why the cooking knifes, and what kinda thrill do you get. Robert
  • Josh · 10 months ago
An overall impressive list. Changing your own tires and oil, while a good skill to have along side a driver's license, don't strike me as being handy in NYC.
I can't imagine seeing you tie shoes with your toes, doesn't seem possible.
I also must agree with Michael, photos of you on Romper Room or it didn't happen! ;)
Now to go add you on Facebook...
  • Steven Stiefel · 10 months ago
I enjoyed reading your list. Nice to know something personal about the people I interview or network with. Brings us to that universal human experience.
  • Jonfun · 10 months ago
Why do I have a feeling if I forward this to Greg Gutfeld that number 10 will be used for RedEye?
  • Brent Z · 10 months ago
Well I'm no longer on Facebook but I've heard of this new list thing. In reference to #5 there is no such thing as "double jointed" the actual term is "Hypermobility". My own mother (a physical therapist) made a point of explaining this to me years ago when a friend was over and showed me his ability to bend his fingers all the way back to his wrist. #2 is superb and I think you should go around the country defeating those "atomic wings" contests you see at restaurants.
  • kelvlam · 10 months ago
This thing seriously is spreading like a malware. I got "infected" and haven't gotten the chance to do mine yet. I don't want to be the rude one and ignore my friend... =(

I think MSNBC started reporting it
    http://digg.com/arts_culture/25_random_things_a...

Then NYTimes as well as USAToday followed

    http://digg.com/tech_news/Ah_Yes_More_About_Me_...

    http://digg.com/tech_news/Facebook_friends_shar...

And at the end it was even on Times

Great list, Natali. I do have to say that #23 made me miss hearing you speak in Spanish when you introduced the Espanol version of Loaded. I'm not sure if that is still being produced, but it was very impressive!

Great list Natali. Where and why did you learn the Hula? Is that part of reason why you'll win Dancing With the Stars?
  • Scott · 10 months ago
I have a similar situation with my dad. He's 75; has heart disease, asbestosis, a bad knee, skin cancer, etc., but is in better health than I (at 42) am! He's a workaholic, who works harder now than ever before he retired from his job (as an electrician at a paper mill).

Once in a while, when we have a confrontation (I work with people; he works with things), I lose my cool, and say, "Well, you're just Superman, aren't you!" He really hates that!

  • gatkin09 · 10 months ago
You were losing me until I found out your were on Romper Room in 1984. Who cares if you can water ski, knows the words to some musicals..you were on Romper Room! :)
  • swissknifev · 10 months ago
You are yourself. You need a friend who says:

I can't lead you because i may not see you behind me

I can't follow you because I may go astray

I just want to be your friend and walk by your side.

And then your heart will resist every break.
    you will never be hurt.
    because you have a friend.

You have to search for a person who says:
    Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is
    I'll be there
    You have a friend.
If you have some person like that, you have a friend.
Like your beloved parents who have exclusive rights over point 10.
  • swissknifev · 10 months ago
And - your sister will be the person who will always love you. Sister-brother fights happen. It has happened with me. But deep down you and she will always want to reach out. You make the first move. She's too precious to lose. Dont lose her. After all she's your blood. She's part of you. I have only spoken about what I experienced in life. People should not suffer. may they all be happy.
  • Alex · 10 months ago
Nice list. I LOL'd a couple of times reading it. It's funny that you mention knowing all the lyrics to Wicked b/c as I read that, my FW started playing the soundtrack aloud on her laptop. Cool on the Romper Room. I have an old friend that was Sesame Street back in the day as well

Keep up the lists about yourself. I think we all love learning about the other (non-TV/famous) side of you. Gives you a more rounded appearance in our (at least my) mind. Good work chica.
  • natalidelconte · 10 months ago
Oh fine. If I must provide Romper Room proof, here you go: http://twitpic.com/1e2h1

    Hi Natali,

You are a very interesting person. First of all I want to tell you I am an author. My memoir is titled Can There Be More? by Heather Hogan. You can check it out at www.amazon.com You can also see my profile and my blogs at www.redroom.com It is a great site! It is where all the writers are, from Mayou Angelo to James Patterson. Click on authors and then put my name in.

Ok, so I read the 25 things about you. Let's get started.

The fact that you admit that you hate weddings is a marvelous look into your character. This exudes self confidence. This screams, "I don't need to be the center of attention for an entire year while spending extreme amounts of money so people can ooh and ahh over me for a day!" You go girl, and I hope you have the best elopement in Eastern Europe ever!

You admitted you stopped skiing when your parents stopped paying for it. Obviously, you didn't love to ski, your parent mush have, you went along with it to be a part of the family, and then stopped when it was time. Your independence and ability to please yourself is astounding! This leads into the next paragraph.

You obviously come from a long line of strong and independent women! How lucky you are! I can tell from the 25 things about you these women have molded you into a woman with high self-esteem, self-respect, and a need to love yourself first. As I wrote in my book, "When children feel loved, they feel safe, and safety leads to security. Safety and security are very important in a child's development. They feel they can trust their parents and their life, which, in turn, gives them the self confidence to fly. My daughter has self-confidence and great self-esteem. Those qualities for a girl or woman to have are two tools that a female needs to dominate her game of life in a man's world."

I am not going to forget your father. He has obviously been a loving father, for her made you learn how to change a tire and oil in your car before you were allowed to get your drivers license. That says he loves you, wants you to be able to take care of yourself when he is not around, and for you to realize you are capable of anything. Changing a tire and oil in car might seem trivial, it isn't, and I am sure it boosted your confidence level at the time to it's highest level. That is why you can proclaim to the world that you know you could win Dancing With the Stars.

Finally, my grandmother died two weeks ago. I have one regret; I didn't learn how to make her chicken and dumplings!

Take care, and I wish you nothing from the best. Realize this is coming from a thirty nine year old woman who lost her mother in a tragic accident at the age of three, was raised by a raging alcoholic, suffered years of abuse, and had none of your qualities until I hit thirty five and wrote my book. I am proud of you, and will have my daughter read your blogs. You will enjoy my blogs at the Red Room!

    All my best,

    Heather Hogan
  • Kevin · 10 months ago
#23....I'm kinda embarrassed to admit it, but I'm a closet Shakira fan. But I sing along to the "grandes exitos" disc in my car.

..."y ahora estoy aqui, queriendo convertir los campus en ciudad, mezclando el cielo con el mar...."

Why does it have to be 25? Frankly, I think this whole thing got started as an Identity Theft scam (it USED to specify that you had to start the list with your full name, date of birth, hometown, and a bunch of other Identity Theft-relevant information). You had to keep adding people to the list and doing "reply all"

It has since morphed in to simply "25 Things". I don't know why I'm making this observation, but hey, now it's yours to ponder. Enjoy! ;-)
  • Lloyd · 10 months ago
I would offer to be the one to break your heart this year as at least I would be very gentile. But you're way out of my league. Best wishes: you are very beautiful and talented and I love to hear your insight.

    Thanks for sharing.

#3 and #8 confuse me. Is #3 saying she's married and #8 saying she ain't?
    Maybe I understood it wrong.
