You were great Natali. Congrats on your first big nationally televised news appearance. Would have been nice if the guy could have understood he doesnt need to go buy another 360 if and when microsoft releases a blu-ray player for it but oh well. Again GREAT JOB!!!!

It's amazing, you just got to New York and you're already on TV.

Congratulations on the nationally televised appearance. You handled yourself well and I definitely agree that Microsoft will be releasing a Blu Ray addon for the 360.

Yea, I saw it live. You were great. I yelled out, "Hey, it's Natalie!" I got a lot of looks. I sat back down rather quickly.

Congratulations, it's nice to see you spread your wings into new territory.

    Take care.

Natali, I think you hit it when you mentioned the online web gaming. That seems to be not factored in and I would guess the numbers would prove you right. My Wife and kids prefer to play flash type games in IE because of the variety. Sure the experience isn't the same as an XBox. I would call them "Main Streamers". At least what that host was getting at "Soccer Moms" ? Umm, I have seen Wii's in retirement centers used as therapy. Maybe the host could have said anyone other than geeks :) . Great appearance and I hope you are invited to more network spots.

    Mmm... soup.....

Congrats on the network spot. Hey, didn't realize the new job made you a senior editor at CNET.

Spiffy! Color me even more impressed -- looks like you're here to stay!

Don't you think it's funny that after so many of life's triumphant moments we have those "lentil-soup-from-the-deli-accross-from-my-office" moments? Wouldn't it be great (and weird) to have a crowd cheering you on at work like athletes do? You write a great piece, film a good segment, or rock your first appearance on national network news, and the crowd goes crazy! They wisk you off of your feet and carry you out of the studio to the rhythmic chanting of your name. "Natali!" Natali!" You wouldn't even have to walk to the deli. They would take you right up to the door.

As part of your cheering section, I would just like to say that you're obviously very intelligent and lovely. I am always delighted by your work whether it be on G4, CNET, or nationally televised network news.

    Sincerely,

    Donny

    Natali,
You were all over it... really fantastic job.

One of your best guest appearances... national or otherwise.

You summed up casual gaming to a Tee... something in your browser that you play for a few minutes, and that probably does not involve "moving a guy around, dying, or killing someone."

I know this was a "casual gaming" segment to some extent, but, I was surprised the moderator didn't touch MMOG (RPG and otherwise). That is definitely a phenomenon (with appeal across different demographic crossections than tradtional first-person-shooters), built around monthly subscriptions that must generate some decent revenue.

The death of HDDVD must be a boost for PS3/Bluray consoles, at least until Microsoft offers a Bluray attachment.

You covered your role as expert well... and held your ground when the analyst questioned an MS Bluray offering.

    Beautiful.
