The couple of times I was in the bay area, I watched KTVU news and he was great to watch and listen to.

Some people say that things like this are crazy, but I know the feeling. They might say that he was just someone on your TV, but it was more then that. He was someone you trusted, someone you welcomed into your home every night and in many times of need. Because of that, he felt like a part of the family. So as much as I'm sure you'll miss him, I bet it warms his heart knowing that people will.

Very sad. Dennis was definitely one of my favorite news casters when I lived in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. KTVU was a childhood staple for news as well as KCRA channel 3 from Sacramento. Good luck Dennis.
